Busy, busy...
Wow, I cant believe that the year is almost gone! Its probably due to how busy life can get (one reason the blog has not been updated for a couple of weeks). Time seems to fly by when life is busy. Along with taking care of my pregnant wife, I have done a few photo shoots, amongst editing these photos and going to class this past few weeks. Among one of the shoots was this past weekend. My sister was a bit late on having her "Happy Holidays" card picture taken. She had asked me if I could shoot her and her husband this weekend. I must say it got cold very quick as the day got later. The shoot took place a bit after 4:30 pm, and the cold was creeping in. But we ended up with some very good shots. Among them is this fine beauty! Awesome lighting! and awesome color! Even though it was cold outside, it was so worth it! Here is to a happy holidays! Merry Christmas everyone! Have a wonderful holiday!

Shoot from Saturday 11.7.09
I had the opportunity to do a shoot for this energetic little boy this past weekend! When I arrived at the house the family was watching Monsters Inc., love those type of movies by the way. I could tell how fun the shoot was going to be just from how energetic the young boy was and how excited his mother and father was. As we went out to shoot, his energy lasted the entire shoot. He just seemed it was as if we were playing and we were able to translate that energy into some really good results. His family is getting a portfolio together for him and hopefully we will see this young boy in some modeling soon! Regardless what outcome happens, we all still had a blast. Its always fun to know that the family was very happy with the results and we all had fun!

Kyle and Chiaki's Wedding
I had the great privilege of doing all the photography for my brothers wedding. The wedding took place on 10.10.09. His now wife is from Japan and is an English major. Some of her family was able to make it from Japan for the wedding. They spoke no english however so it was difficult communicating with them if there was no one to translate around. They were married at River Oaks Golf Course. It was nice that day but a bit cold. Here are a few pictures from the engagements and the bridals and also from the actual wedding day. It was fun just being the photographer, even if it was my brothers wedding. They were such a fun couple to work with! Thanks for looking.

Chase Lester Photography
Well here I am! A fresh, new blog for the world to read. I recently decided to jump on board with the blogging. My name is Chase Lester. I am a professional photographer that lives in Utah. I have shot mainly portraits and weddings, but dont mind stepping out side of those bounds when the client has a certain request of something to be photographed, such as other types of events. I love to take pictures. Its a fun way to express myself! I would love to do some pictures for you, or you and your family. Fall is a great time to have your family portrait taken! The colors wont last much longer though. Hope to see you around the blog!
I cant leave without showing you a pic! This is a unique self protrait of myself (plenty of work to be shown from clients to come though!

Would you like a unique self portrait like this? Come up with an idea and lets make it happen!
